Sequent — Terms of Service
Last updated: 27th June 2026
Welcome to Sequent. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at www.sequentware.com and your purchase of products from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Us
The Site is operated by Sequent Clothing Ltd, a business registered in England and Wales (17054327), with its registered address at Milton Keynes, MK107LG. You can contact us at connect@sequentware.com.
2. Using Our Site
You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material
- Copy, reproduce, or resell any part of the Site without our written permission
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without our consent
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms.
3. Products
We make every effort to display our products accurately, including colours, dimensions, and details. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display accurately reflects the actual product. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
4. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send you an order confirmation email, but a contract is only formed when we dispatch your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where:
- The product is unavailable or was listed at an incorrect price
- We are unable to verify or authorise your payment
- We suspect the order is fraudulent or placed for commercial resale
If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.
5. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, processed securely by our payment providers. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors; if a product's correct price is higher than stated and you have already ordered, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm or cancel.
For international orders, you are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes charged by your country.
6. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are estimates only. We are not liable for delays outside our control (such as courier disruption, customs processing, or adverse weather), though we will keep you informed where possible. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery; ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
7. Returns & Refunds
Our returns and refund process, including your statutory cancellation rights for UK orders and our 14-day return window for international orders, is set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, product designs, graphics, and the "Sequent" name and branding — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any of it without our prior written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial viewing of the Site.
9. User Content & Reviews
If you submit reviews, comments, or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our business. You confirm your content is your own, is accurate, and does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain anything unlawful, defamatory, or offensive. We may remove any user content at our discretion.
10. Privacy & Cookies
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which also explains how we use cookies.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to receive products that are as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for: loss of profits, business, or revenue; indirect or consequential losses; or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
If you are using the Site as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only; we have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for them.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order. Please review this page periodically for changes.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — meaning that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and if you are a consumer in another country, you may benefit from mandatory protections under your local law.
