One of one. Cut from a single panel of vintage kantha — layers of reclaimed cotton sari hand-stitched together with the dense running stitch that gives the cloth its rippled, lived-in depth. No two pairs will ever be the same.
The ground is a deep indigo, hand block-printed in faded gold: small abstract motifs scattered across the body, drawn together by dotted and zigzag border stripes that run the length of each leg — a nod to the decorative sari edge the original cloth came from. Rows of running stitch travel over every inch, catching the light and softening the whole thing into something that already feels worn-in.
Cut as an easy, straight-leg trouser with a button front, belt loops and slant pockets up top, a comfortable elasticated back waistband, and a rear patch pocket finished with the Sequent label. The quilted kantha body gives them real substance — a proper three-season trouser with weight and character.
