One of one. This jacket is cut and constructed from a single piece of vintage kantha — layers of reclaimed cotton sari fabric hand-stitched together with the dense running stitch that gives kantha its signature rippled, lived-in texture. No two will ever be the same.
The base is a deep jade green run through with vertical stripes of crimson, rose pink, and faded cream, each one picked out in contrasting hand-embroidery that shifts in the light. A natural herringbone-woven panel runs down one side as a reminder that this began life as something else entirely.
Built for everyday wear with a clean, collared silhouette, a sturdy full-length YKK zip, and just enough structure from the quilted layers to work as a light jacket across three seasons.
