Pieced together from reclaimed vintage kantha quilts, this jacket blooms with faded florals — raspberry and white blossom prints, dusty rose, lilac ditsy florals, sage and coral sprigs — grounded by a soft taupe panel and lifted by a punchy cobalt-blue collar and matching pocket trims. The sleeves wander off into their own patchwork of pale plaid, grey check, and orange paisley, so there's something new to find from every angle.
It's all bound together with the signature kantha running stitch — fine rows of hand-sewn lines that quilt the layers into one textured, gently puckered cloth. Soft fading, frayed edges, and the odd visible mend come built-in; they're the marks of textiles that have already been loved once and stitched into a new life.
Cut boxy and relaxed for an easy, modern fit, it layers beautifully over a tee or knit. Finished with a full-length metal zip, a relaxed camp collar, and two patchwork chest flap pockets fastened with natural coconut-shell buttons.
