One of one. Cut from vintage kantha — layers of reclaimed cotton hand-stitched with the dense running stitch that gives the cloth its rippled, lived-in depth. No two pairs will ever be the same.
This is one of the boldest in the run. The cloth shifts from deep rose-pink through magenta into rich violet-purple, an almost ombré wash across the body, with faded gold-metallic block-print motifs surfacing through the dye where the original sari once carried its pattern. Years of wear have softened the surface into something painterly — pale silvery patches bloom where the cloth has worn thin, and the close kantha stitching ripples over all of it like brushwork. The result reads less like a garment and more like a piece of textile art you can wear.
Cut as an easy, straight-leg trouser with a coconut-shell button at the front, belt loops, slant side pockets and a comfortable elasticated back waistband. A rear patch pocket is finished with the Sequent label. The quilted kantha body gives them proper substance — a true three-season trouser with character built in.
