One of one. Cut from a single panel of vintage kantha — layers of reclaimed cotton sari hand-stitched together with the dense running stitch that gives the cloth its rippled, crinkled depth. No two pairs will ever be the same.
This is the brightest of the trousers, and the way it's cut means the two legs play off each other. One runs in a bold turquoise-and-green check; the other softens into a green stripe shot through with a gold metallic sheen that lifts and shifts as you move. The crinkled kantha surface catches the light across both, so the whole piece reads jewel-bright in some lights and gently faded in others.
Cut as an easy, straight-leg trouser with a button front, belt loops and slant pockets up top, a comfortable elasticated back waistband, and a rear patch pocket finished with the Sequent label. The quilted kantha body gives them real substance — a statement trouser with weight and a soft, broken-in handle.
