Kantha is the traditional Bengali craft of layering worn cotton saris and binding them with thousands of tiny running stitches — so every inch of this fabric was quilted by hand long before it was ever a pair of trousers. This is the only pair like it in existence.
The base is a deep, jewel-toned emerald, animated by rows of contrast white kantha stitching that ripple across the surface like rainfall. Scattered gold zari motifs — woven remnants of the original sari — catch the light as you move, while threads of red running stitch trace quiet lines down each leg. It's subtle from a distance and endlessly detailed up close.
Designed with a relaxed, straight leg and a mid rise, they're finished with a coconut-shell button, belt loops, side pockets, and a partially elasticated back waist for an easy, forgiving fit. The quilted cotton is soft and lived-in from day one, with just enough structure to hold its shape.
