One of one. Pieced from panels of vintage kantha — layers of reclaimed cotton sari hand-stitched into a dense, rippled cloth that no two pieces will ever share.
This one is built on contrast. The centre body and back run in a deep indigo printed with a tiny all-over geometric of cream and dusty-pink diamonds, triangles and dots — quiet from across the room, intricate up close. Set against it, the side panels, sleeves and hem band switch to a soft grey-and-white plaid, the two fabrics meeting in clean vertical seams that show off the patchwork construction. Rows of running stitch travel across every surface, and a black inner collar trim keeps the neckline sharp.
A clean, collared cut with a sturdy full-length zip and the quiet structure quilted kantha gives. Three-season weight, and a piece that reads as one thing on the hanger and another in the hand.
